
David Tigg
Before founding the practice in 2008, David worked at leading firms including Wilkinson Eyre and Marks Barfield Architects. He was the lead design architect for the £145 million Kings Waterfront Arena, a flagship for the City of Culture in Liverpool 2008. His broad experience spans large-scale developments such as arenas, commercial offices, residential, and educational buildings, alongside strong expertise in detailing and project delivery on site.
At TiggColl, David leads the largest and most complex projects, including established residential, co-living, and high-end student accommodation developments. His design ethos emphasizes excitement, energy, and humanity—seeking inspiration in everyday life.
David studied at Cambridge University and MIT, and has recently lectured on the practice’s design approach at the Cass School of Architecture. His diverse experience and passion for complex projects continue to shape the studio’s work across all typologies.
